
Anger Management – Participants in this workshop will learn the root causes of anger and effective strategies for managing anger. They will learn the emotional aspects of anger and how those emotions can be used to help them fulfill their potential and strive to achieve their goals and dreams.
Business Etiquette – Participants in this workshop will learn success strategies for the workplace. They will be taught how to make a good 1st impression--- which can sometimes be a lasting impression---on others. Basic workplace etiquette such as punctuality, subjects to avoid in a professional work environment, keeping the workplace tidy, meeting deadlines, and professional image.
Celebrating Diversity – This workshop teaches participants how to avoid offending others through verbal, social, and written interactions. Individuals will discuss differences and similarities and learn how to celebrate those differences in ways that can strengthen their relationships with others. Perceptions and strategies for alleviating negative personal biases will also be explored.
Communicating Effectively – This workshop will teach individuals how to speak and listen more effectively. Participants will gain insights regarding the communication process that will help enhance their awareness and understanding when conversing with others. Participants will learn techniques to improve their spoken communication skills - presentation skills, telephone etiquette and voice tone, as well as their unspoken communication skills - hearing vs. listening, body language and gestures, etc.
Conflict Resolution Skills – This workshop will teach participants how to cope in difficult situations. Individuals will learn techniques for effectively resolving conflicts and responding to criticism. Strategies for using individual behavior styles in order to manage differences while promoting team spirit will also be presented.
Debt Management 101 – Participants in this workshop will learn the basic concepts of budgeting. by preparing a mock household budget. They will learn how to build and maintain good credit. The 10 steps for coping with credit problems and how to develop a debt free mind-set. They will learn the (8) steps to financial freedom and how to stretch their income. They will learn how to get out of debt. Individuals will also learn the importance of paying themselves first as they prepare for the future.
Embracing Change – This workshop will help participants anticipate, identify, and manage feelings and emotions associated with change. It also offers tools for overcoming challenges associated with change.
Esteem & Confidence Builders – Participants in this workshop will learn the fundamental elements of self esteem --- what it is, the importance of it, and the role that others play in influencing their self esteem. Individuals will be taught strategies for increasing their levels of self-esteem and self-confidence.
Goal Setting – This workshop teaches participants the importance of setting goals, how to ensure that their goals are measurable, and how goals can be attained for individuals as well as the entire team.
Handling Diversity In The Workplace – Participants in this workshop will develop an awareness of the ways in which others might be offended. They will learn how to recognize their blind spots and strategies to avoid verbal, social, and written mistakes. Individuals will learn new techniques for relating to others who are different. Participants will discuss human relationships, individual perceptions, how not to “step on toes”, personal biases, and when to laugh and when to take interactions seriously.
Interviewing Workshop – Participants in this workshop will learn how to prepare for an interview, appropriately dress for the interview, and how to communicate to emphasize their strong points. Mock interviews will also be conducted to help individuals identify strengths and minimize weaknesses.
Leadership Skills – The leadership skills workshop is designed to help participants explore the unique qualities and characteristics demonstrated by effective leaders in today’s dynamic society. Participants will learn fundamental leadership behaviors and skills that can be applied to any environment.
Parenting In The 21st Century – Participants in this workshop will learn new, more effective methods of parenting the aggressive generation by using the 3 M’s strategy– managing, mentoring, and ministering. Participants will learn the emotional, psychological, educational and spiritual aspects of parenting.
Power of Words – This workshop will enhance the participant’s abilities to create healthy relationships with words. They will learn the dangers of negative speech, the 10 reasons why people gossip, the 10 tips for healing with words and the 4 techniques of the power of words.
Resume Workshop – This workshop will teach clients how to identify their attributes & qualifications and organize and define them on paper. Participants will learn the art of writing their skills in a manner that attracts the right employer and the right job. Additionally, participants will learn how to properly complete a basic application of employment.
Time Management – Participants will learn how to control their time and the importance of time management. They will learn how to identify time wasters, establish priorities, eliminate procrastination, and skillfully delegate in order to ensure the best use of their time.
Stress Management – This workshop will teach participants how stress affects them personally and professionally. The damages of stress and ways to combat stress are explored. Writing For Business (Grammar 101) – Participants in this workshop will learn the fundamental elements of writing---how to be concise, direct, and purposeful. Writing strategies that will enable them to create successful business and personal communications will be taught.
